I have to admit that even though, intellectually, I know exactly how to quiet my mind and find my center, I’m finding it extremely difficult to stay focused for prolonged periods of time.
There’s a battle going on between my need to feel connected to the Universe on a spiritual level and my need to work and earn a living in order to be comfortable in the material world. When I start asking “how?”, I lose focus on both spectrums and I’m back to square one.
My goal for this week will be to find my center and focus, focus, focus.
In my previous post, I submitted the idea that letting go of fear was as easy as trying. It truly is. But sometimes, our fears return and we need a simple way of ridding ourselves of the negative emotions that keep us from taking the next step. Breathing helps, meditation helps, laughter and movement help but sometimes all we need is to change our focus. I came across this video yesterday and knew I had to share it with you.
