Love our blue planet? Think Green on blog action day!
If you are like me or the 16 thousand other zen habitants who flock to the awesome Zen Habits blog penned by Leo Babauta on a regular basis you’ve probably already heard of the blog action day. (Actually, you’d have to be living under a rock at this point because there are now nearly 4000 blogs, big and small, registered for Blog Action day.)
The concept is simple: What would happen if every blog published posts discussing the same issue, on the same day?
I for one can’t wait to find out!
On Blog Action Day, set for October 15th 2007, (Note to the organizers, the date should be indicated on your promo banners) bloggers from around the world will unite around a single topic: the environment.
The goal is to get everyone talking about how we can all contribute to making the world a better place.
I love this initiative started by Collis Ta’eed of Eden Creative Communities, Leo Babauta of ZenHabits and Cyan Ta’eed of FreelanceSwitch and it will be interesting to see what kind of impact it will have both on and off the web.
