Can I get a YES?
Never accept a “NO” from someone who is not entitled to give you a “YES”.
This is a lesson I learned long ago but that I seem to forget from time to time. ( I seem to accept no answers from low level stuffy old dragons in navy suits a few too many times … not any more)
I found a story on Digg today about an entrepreneur who didn’t let a “NO” (he was “ripped apart on the Dragons Den reality show and was told his idea was worthless) on national TV stop him from developing his invention and creating a thriving business from it. His invention? An uber cute plastic suitcase on wheels that kids aged 3-6 can sit and ride on.

It is so awesome! I can see an adult version of this being made… what with all the airport delays… I also think a schoolbag version for older kids would be great too.
I raise my hat to Rob Law, the inventor, who followed his instincts and kept moving forward with his project till he succeeded. Now, 85 000 kids can happily scoot along on their suitcases. (Talk about a big resounding YES!)
Want one for your kids? You can order them online : Visit the Trunki website for details.
Visit Rob Law’s Blog if you want to know more about the man, his vision and his ethical and ecology conscious company called Magmatic.. he also provides a number of links to other innovative, interesting and useful kids products. Great stuff!
